Bengaluru has two railway stations (KSR and Yeswantpur) with direct trains from Delhi (Rajdhani, 33-36 hours, ₹2,500-3,500). The airport (Kempegowda International) has flights from all major cities. The city has a metro system (Namma Metro) and app-based cabs. BMTC buses cover the city efficiently.

When to go
Bengaluru is pleasant year-round due to its altitude. October to February is the best period — mild (15-28°C). March-May is warm (up to 35°C). June-September is monsoon with regular rain. The Lalbagh Flower Show in January-August is a major event.
