Safety guidelines

  1. IMF permits mandatory - apply 60 days in advance
  2. Prior high-altitude trekking experience (5,000m+) strongly recommended
  3. Proper acclimatization in Leh (2-3 days) is mandatory
  4. Summit day is 10-12 hours with steep glacier and ridge sections
  5. Weather window is critical - July to September only
