Permits & reaching base

Govind Wildlife Sanctuary entry ticket and forest camping fee paid at the Sankri forest check-post.

Base: Sankri. Take the train to Dehradun, then a shared cab or bus from Dehradun to Sankri via Purola and Mori in 7 to 9 hours. Walk from Sankri village and return to Sankri for the drive back to Dehradun.
